How do I bulk-update tickets in Kora? Up to 100 at once

Updated Oct 21, 2026

Select several tickets in the tickets list and use the bulk bar to change status, assign or unassign, or move them to another category in one action. Every ticket's activity log records the bulk change, and automation rules run per ticket — a bulk status change fires status-changed rules for each ticket individually. The public API offers the same operation at POST /public/v1/tickets/bulk.

Typical uses

  • Closing out a batch after a fix ships ("resolved in v2.1").

  • Reassigning a queue when someone goes on vacation.

  • Re-filing mis-filed tickets after renaming a category.

Common questions

How many tickets can I update at once?

Up to 100 tickets in one bulk action.

What can I change in bulk?

Status, assignee (assign or unassign) and category.

Do automation rules still run?

Yes. Rules run per ticket, so a bulk status change fires the status-changed rules for each ticket individually.
