How do I create my first ticket in Kora? Paste and structure

Updated Oct 21, 2026

Open Tickets and click New Ticket. Paste the customer's raw message into the description and Kora's AI structures it in one click — proposing a clean title, category, and priority. Adjust anything, attach files, and submit. Creating a ticket costs 1 credit; everything after that (comments, status changes, resolution) is free.

Ways tickets enter Kora

  • Dashboard — the New Ticket modal with AI structuring.

  • Public API — POST /public/v1/tickets from your product, forms, or scripts.

  • Widget — the embeddable support form (popup, sidebox, inline, or full page).

  • Embedded sessions — scoped dashboard access for partners.

After creation

Every ticket gets an auto-incremented number, a status (Open → In Progress → Resolved → Closed, workflow-dependent), and a full activity trail. Claim it, assign it, or let your SLA policy start the clock.

Common questions

What does a ticket cost?

Creating a ticket costs 1 credit ($0.10). Comments, status changes and resolution are free, and AI structuring is free.

What if I have no credits yet?

The wallet can overdraw to −10 credits so your first tickets work even before you claim the signup credits.

Can customers create tickets themselves?

Yes: through the public API, the embeddable support form or the customer portal. Each one is a normal ticket and costs 1 credit.
